The painting „new structure“ began with a burning stick in Schloss Kapfenburg where the smoke formation set off the fire alarms.
Later in Kunstraum Hohenstadt: in stages, this alarm-causing drawing grew ever denser and – with colored chalk, acrylic and finally with oil paints – into a complex painting.
When it was completed, I called the fire department myself.
